About the event
Wildfire season is here! Join us at the Big Lake Fire Department Gates Community Room on Saturday July 27th from 1:00 pm-4:00pm to learn about current wildfire conditions in the Big Lake area and what you can do to make your homes and communities more wildfire resilient. This event will feature presentations and informational tables from Skagit Conservation District, WA Department of Natural Resources, Big Lake Fire Department, and Kulshan Carbon Trust. RSVP for updates and reminders, but this is a free event and all are welcome!
The Community Wildfire Resiliency Program is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health.
